Freeing up a 146 lb blacksmith post vise - the pivot pin was rusted in and the pivot arm wouldn’t budge. Put it in the coal forge, applied heat, some “gentle” taps on the nut and pivot screw pin - and it came free. Next I freed the arm and removed the vise from the fire to disassemble while hot.
