Midwifery was once criminalized in the U.S. — not ancient history… we’re talking just decades ago. Licensure didn’t even exist in many states until the 1970s–90s, thanks to pioneers like Ina May and others who pushed for recognition. 🙌 👣 I choose to be licensed.
